29/10/2018 - Project blog week 5
My main focus for my project will be to create a relaxing puzzle game where the players main objective will be to walk through, the ideals behind it have been discussed in the blog for week 3 but to further expand upon it I have so far decided that the playable character has woken up in a camp with no recognition of how they got there or what is going on and has to traverse through a series of puzzles and mazes gradually finding clues along the way. Furthermore I have compiled a rough sketch of the initial maze and have created the maze and beginning campsite where the character will start.
My fall back idea for this is instead of a game to turn this story/scene into a short scene where telling this story, I have chosen this idea as a backup so that if the designing of the game does not go to plan I still have the assets and map created as a fall back option for myself to use.
